Dear Parents and Carers,
As we come to the end of another busy and successful week at Heathfields Infant Academy, it has been wonderful to see the children continuing to grow in confidence, curiosity and kindness. The school has been full of energy, with pupils engaging enthusiastically in their learning and embracing every opportunity to challenge themselves. We are incredibly proud of their achievements, both in the classroom and beyond, and we thank you for your ongoing support in making our school such a positive and nurturing place to learn.
School photographs
This is a gentle reminder that photographs need to be ordered by 30th June, other late payments cause a delivery charge and will be delayed at turnaround times.
New classes
As you will be aware, all children will spend time in their new classrooms on Wednesday 1st July and Thursday 2nd July. All children will need to be taken to and collected from their new classrooms. The children will be shown where to go by their current teacher on Tuesday.

Current Year 2 children will be down at the junior site for both days. They should be dropped off by 8.55am and collected by parents at 3.15pm. If they use the breakfast club, then, for both transition days, they will go to the junior breakfast club. If they are after-school, then the junior staff will walk them down to the infant site.
PTFA Updates
The summer fair is on Thursday in the juniors at 3.30pm. Please join us for fun on the field and playground.

Message from the Catering manager - For Year 2 parents only (as this only affects children at Wilnecote Juniors)
We wanted to update you that we will be making some changes to the snacks that children are able to purchase from September 2026.
Changes:
We will be reducing our snack offer from September 2026, as we are required to follow new guidance which directs schools to reduce the amount of sugars within their catering. We have already anticipated the changes in our new menus, but snacks have been identified as an area where we must change. Therefore:
Across all settings, children will only be able to purchase, Toast, green apples or a banana. The cost for a snack will remain at 35p.
Arbor will be amended to reflect these changes.
Thank you very much for your understanding in this matter.
Laura Carr ( Trust Catering Manager)

Health and Safety update – Hedges
We are pleased to inform you that the High School have addressed the hedges. We have also contacted our grounds service to come earlier and cut the hedges as these have become overgrown due to the weather (this is usually a job that is done in the 6-week holiday when the children are off-site).
Have a lovely weekend and fingers crossed for a slightly cooler week next week.
Regards
Mr Melloy
