Dear Parents and Carers
What another fabulous week of learning we have had! We have been delighted to see some wonderful writing across all year groups, with the children showing great enthusiasm and pride in their work. Year 2 have shared some fabulous sketching, Reception have enjoyed their very first PE lesson in the hall, and Year 1 have been busy mastering their number bonds.
Scholastic book fair
We are having the travelling book fair once again at Heathfields. The cases of books will be on the main playground at the end of the day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting.
If it's raining, we will have the books inside (but space will be tight!)
Celebrations
Well done everyone, there was an increase in our weekly attendance, keep this up!
The classes with the best attendance this week were: Ross and Murphy with 100%
The classes with attendance above 96% were: Ross, Murphy, Donaldson, Ahlberg, McKee and Grey
The class with the highest number of readers this week was: Grey with 84%.
Whole school visit to Tamworth Assembly Rooms
We are delighted to be taking the children to see Dick Whittington at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms on Thursday 7th January 2027 as part of our curriculum enrichment programme.
This exciting theatre experience will give children an opportunity to engage with the performing arts. The venue has been reserved exclusively for Heathfields children for the whole of our visit and offers inclusive facilities, including a quiet area if needed.
Please log in to Arbor to provide permission and make payment (instalment options available). This must be completed by Wednesday 9th December 2026.
We look forward to a fantastic experience for all our children
